The idea of this band began in the summer of 2014 in a friend’s backyard. Our buddy JR was moving to Virginia, and we were getting him blind drunk as a proper send off. Towards the end of the evening me and Dustin started talking about how both of our bands had split, and that we should get together and jam. Fast forward to the tail end of October-Dustin, Mike, and myself got together for the first time to try and write songs. A month and a half later we were booked on a show as “American Hellfire” - Dustin and Mike’s old band. Despite technical difficulties, and drunkenness - we did pretty well. Sal liked it, and asked if we needed a second guitarist. To be honest, I was giddy as shit when he asked to join. Him and Dusty had been in bands together before, and work extremely well off of each other. The following week we got together with Sal who had already written parts for the songs. Things instantly sounded way fuller, and at that point we became what is this band. We continued to write, and play shows over the next few months. In October of 2015 we got together with our buddy Phil Douglas to record this record. Things got hectic, and life got crazy so it took a little longer than expected to put this out. So it goes. After being a band for about a year and a half, we’d like to finally share our record with you. We’ve poured our hearts into this record and hope you enjoy it…or don’t. Your choice. If you dislike it, I guess you can just blame JR. This whole thing started in his backyard.
